Stayed here for Torrey Pines Golf. Close to golf course without the exorbitant cost of staying on the golf course. About a 10-15 min drive to the course. Hotel was clean with all the amenities expected of a higher class hotel. Room was clean, water was hot. Sheets were crisp and no fear of bugs while sleeping. Outside hot tub next to the pool was a nice perk. It seems like fewer hotels are offering hot tubs. Nicer than a Best Western. No issues with the Wi-Fi. Would stay here again.
We have stayed at this hotel before and find the accommodations to be fine for a weekend away. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I seem to be challenged by the remote control for the television. Thankfully, it was possible to get instructions from a staff member. He helped me by showing me how to find the guide. I didn’t realize that housekeeping is done every other day. We wanted clean towels the second morning of our stay and was able to pick up clean towels at the reception desk.
We stayed here 3 years ago for a week and we have another reservation for 6 nights this September for a family wedding. The rooms were nice, clean, spacious, and staff great. We are Hilton Honors members so we do like their properties. The deli Restruant is great for a snack and dinner if needed.
Been here before. Love the location for its closeness to so many venues. Did NOT appreciate the drunk dudes at 2:23 a.m. in the parking lot beneath my window! Get that the Dodhers won, but inexcusable that the front desk didn't deal with it!!
Excellent service. Stayed for nearly a week. Very spacious, clean room, great bathroom, nice view, good housekeeping, common areas were really nice, restaurant food was tasty, and front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind. Overall a 5 star experience, very cheap for the quality I actually received. I know where I'm staying if I ever return to San Diego. Addressing other reviews I saw below mine: housekeeping was every other day, and the hotel smelled particularly good. I find it funny there were complains about the smell, when the first thing I texted my fiance soon as I arrived was "damn, this place smells so good". I'm glad to see they've taken past criticism to heart!
I had a problem with my reservation upon checking in, which was no fault of the hotel. The Front desk manager, Cedric was exceptional in helping me resolve my issue. He took charge of the situation he was professional and empathetic. His customer service was outstanding and on point.
Nice and small hotel in the Torrey Pines area. Lobby is nice. The beds are comfortable. TV remote was challenging. It’s a modern tv & remote which you can operate from your phone. The room has microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker. Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/lotion are provided. The rooms need updating. They are older and BROWN. Lighten up the carpet, walls & drapes. It’s dreary now. Staff were nice they switched our room because it was dark. Our upgrade to a patio was facing a wall. they could have told us that breakfast was served at the hotel behind this hotel. We missed the complementary breakfast. Or put a note in the room. The pool/spa area were nice.
